Go to a hi-fi show, and listen to some systems way out of your price
bracket. Find the ones you are blown away by (I mean totally), and you
have your direction.

There are many radically different approaches to hi-fi/music
presentation. I recommend not making an expensive mistake!

There's no way we can help you with specifics until you know what you
like. Even then, only listen to people who have systems like what you
like!

Have fun

Adam
