Peak-peak is a terrible way to measure jitter.  For one thing, the
longer your sample the higher the pk-pk number - it never converges, at
least if the jitter is more or less Gaussian.  It's like quantifying
home prices by the most expensive house in some area, without
specifying how big that area is.  It's a non-robust statistic, so don't
expect two measurements of it to agree.

RMS is a much better way to do things.
