jitter over some unspecified interval.  Estimating this from the analog
output could add the DACs errors into the jitter value.  Actually
measuring the cumulative jitter on the data edges, you actually can see
the effects of poor oscillator power supply filtering when using a SMPS.
Attached is one example which the 33MHz from the PCI bus was one key
source of jitter, but there are other cases where the 150kHz of the
SMPS was obvious.
