Just wanted to add here that I have been listening to the tp plugged directly into a Audionet m1v2 stereo main amp with my Dali speakers. It was a completely different story!!! But I have to add that I compared the Marantz against a Briston power amp as well and the Briston although more expensive than the Marantz just didn't sound anything exciting the same day. Either I was experiencing fatique or there is a huge difference between the Audionet m1v2 and the Briston. Anyway removing the pre might be the way to go but I am not sure with what to replace it since the Audionet doesn't have balanced inputs. Any suggestions?
