The Audio Critic used to make my blood boil. The more time goes on, the more I see it their way! (But I am not there completely, yet. ;) ) I think "audiophile" is a psychological condition, it's disconnected from reality.
Reviewing speaker cables, or even good digital sources, is like going to a restaurant and trying to review the oven used just by tasting the food.
