Howlndog,your decision is very simple...If the Transporter sounds better in your system then it IS better!. as a Transporter user i would say that wouldn't i?!. i replaced a perfectly good cd spinner (LINN IKEMI),but don't regret the change to a server based music system with my Transporter front-end. right at this moment i'm playing Tchaikovsky and it's sounding pretty damn musical from my Totem Forest's (Canadian!). good luck in your final choice,it's all part of the enjoyment of this hobby of ours.
