Thanks Pat, speakers are already on Arcam stands and correctly positioned / spiked. I was really after any advice on the hardware side. I am aware that my choice of amp is a big limiting factor -- if anyone can argue a good case for saying that there is no point in upgrading the SB3 with a DAC because I won't notice the benefit with that type of amp, then I'm willing to listen to that too!
