I used to own a Bryston BP25 DA (preamp with built-in DAC). The DAC
section had a phase reversal switch. Any audible differences from
changing phase were so subtle as to be irrelevant, and there's no way in
heck I could have said that one way sounded better than the other. I
think the only reason Bryston put in the phase switch was because a
reviewer for one of the audio mags kept asking them for it. I guess
that's what happens when manufacturers listen more to the reviewers than
to their customers.
