I have a SPDIF cable running from my big stereo rig in the basement, to the home theatre setup in the living room, so not quite 25 feet, but probably 16-18. Works fine with no issues. If you use a good quality RG6 cable, you should be fine.
High frequency roll off is the only mechanism that I can think of, that might impact jitter, but again, using a good RG6 cable will keep you out of trouble. -- DCtoDaylight Audiophile wish list: Zero Distortion, Infinite Signal to Noise Ratio, and a Bandwidth from DC to Daylight ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DCtoDaylight's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7284 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71728 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
