I don't know who this "Mlsstl" gentleman is....but he's 100% dead-on in my book.
Technology, bit depth or sampling rates don't make the recording any more than the knife makes the surgeon. It's a matter of skill, and attention to detail and quality that go into the front end of the project that has such a significant impact on what we hear at home. Bravo Mlsstl.
