I disagree - to my mind, it is most certainly *not* an excellent
recording. Nothing to do with taste - I actually like that style of music.

You understand what happens when you simply clip a peak, don't you? You
know about the high frequency content in square waves?

Really, clipping is a *bad* thing; I'm not sure how anyone can argue
anything different.

And would you care to explain to me how you *increase* dynamic range by
cutting the peaks off the signal? I think you'll find that that actually
"reduces" dynamic range.

Would I be right in thinking you're not a musician?
