I did not mean 'cheap' == 'bad'. Transporter is a good piece of hardware as-is, yet.. Sean had some price range in mind, so he could not test capacitors that cost 200$, right? The most expensive parts in Transporter, I think are panels, display, volume.. All the rest maybe costs 10-30$.. I doubt if total manufacturing cost of Transporter will top 200$..
I gave a link above that elaborates a bit on the upgrade It might be not cost-effective, but I do not care about VFM, right? If you take Vitus for example (I saw tons of these amps in Munich), then you can realize that it uses 16 capacitors of Duelund Silver Cast-PIO.. it costs accordingly..
