I consider a set of STAX earspeakers, but have no experience with electrostats. I plan to use my Touch as source. The STAX comes with a vacuum tube driver unit. Can I connect the Touch directly to the driver unit, or do I need a separate DAC and/or amplifier?
Anyone with any experience with STAX SRS-4040 in general?
