To my frustration - It's so hard to hear real POSITIVE differences sometimes. I have done NUMEROUS changes over the years. "Differences" for sure. Sometimes those differences dont hold up to additional scrutiny. Sometimes its just a point of "so what" - move on. I have found that I need to get acquainted to the sound I am listening to, to make a judgment as to what is "better" and "worse". Which means I need to get acquainted to the sound in comparison as well! Not possible to do in ABX.
