The advice from Phil is very sound. (pun intended :)) You may also want to consider a few other things:
Running a separate, dedicated electrical circuits - one for the power amp, one of the digital line level components and a third for analog line level components. By "line level" I mean any component other then a power amp. Having dedicated circuits will help in isolating the audio equipment from any interference caused by the lighting dimmers and remote. Running some cat 5 cable for the Touch and any other devices which need to connect to your network. And most importantly - a very large picture of Miles Davis should hung in the room to ensure that the proper listening ambiance is maintained at all times. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85319 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
