definitely buy the TOUCH. put it in line to replace your SB3. Listen for a few weeks. It will be a major upgrade. You may or may not want more. And even if you do, it may be your speakers first and amp second that would add more bang for the buck. And all are correct that your #2 is categorically wrong. But get the TOUCH.
