No, it's not just you, I would too! - but there's a dining table in the way... It's NOT going to sound great with a table between you and the speakers, no matter where you put them. I'd stick with wall mounting and get them up high so that you will be mostly listening to the tweeters not the tweeters reflected/interfered with by the table. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
