These sorts of tools distinguish themselves by identifying time-based issues e.g. RT60 and waterfall. Actually these are the issues I am addressing first (for slightly intuitive reasons) rather than frequency response. (And as an extra I hope FR will get better anyway when the time-based issues are addressed.)
Solving time-based problems requires room treatments mostly, I think. I agree with Phil that you should get everything in and live with it for a while first!
