The real fun starts when you do double-blind tests (yes, I know, never do double-blind tests with audiophiles. Scientific methodology is evil by definition) with low-bitrate mp3s. Yes, people will be able to tell the difference. The fun is what they find to sound better. So much for "trust your ears"
