Yes, in my opinion, it is really so good but always mind your taste. Moreover I think that, nowadays, majority of the dacs are made to look good on papers (good spec). Musicality factor is really underestimated and omitted factor in manufacturing audio equipment. Speaking of this particular diy dac, you would need a case and some inner guts to get it work. I don't care about look because my unit is hidden behind the Touch which was hacked to provide I2S signal. Pure joy of listening !
