About as plausible as the server tweaks affecting the rhythm of the hard drive's read head, making the cabinet (e.g. in the garage) vibrate in a different pattern, affecting how the garage floor vibrates, making the light from the lightbulb hanging over the garage door oscillate differently, and the part of the light that shines in through the living room window and hitting the TOSLINK cable between the Touch and the DAC affecting jitter so you can hear it changing the sound. In other words, not overwhelmingly plausible.
