Hello! Quite often I I hear music records that have a constant peep at ~16KHz and it is annoying to me.
Here is an example spectrogram of a recording that has this flaw. '[image: http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/8282/soxqp.png]' (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/19/soxqp.png/) A friend of mine had an explanation that it is an electrical noise caused by analog TV signal. Can anybody provide an explanation of what exactly is this ~16KHz peep and why it is left in the final version of the recording? -- Bytec ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bytec's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17676 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93787 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
