A innovative product of a kind that came out in 2002 and appears to have inspired no sequels. The report you linked seems to have had the detailed results of technical testing go missing, however there are some comments: "The noise level doesn't reveal noticeable pickups from high-voltage circuits of the section" "The AFCs for 50% and 100% volume levels coincide, the frequency response is normal" and "The harmonic distortion level is 1..2% - it's typical of tube equipment" I'll dispute the last comment as a general statement, having designed and built tubed equipment back in the day that performed far better than that. However, for a simple dual triode stereo buffer this is about what you get, depending on operating levels. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ arnyk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64365 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103683 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
