Perhaps you have a rego similar to a glider here. It's not unknown for
transpositions to occur (ask Phil Endicott(UIJ), who has a similar rego
to one of our IS28's (IUJ))
It's not unknown for certain individuals to use spoof rego's during the
week when the tower is not manned (eg "white bird"). Doesn't exactly
give a good impression.

I would be inclined to tell them you have never flown there, and to
leave it to them to prove that you were.
