Yes. The AUGC winch uses about 1 litre of fuel per launch.
That includes the 3km round-trip down the runways and back to reset
the cables after every second launch.
Truck engine is a Mitsubishi Astron 4cyl. Winch engine is a Ford V8
with a Holley carbie and an automatic transmission.
