I noticed in the press the other day that Internode got praise for the
quality of it's ISP sevice ahead of all the rest.

You may also not be aware that Simon/Internode provides this for free as
a service to the gliding community. One of many services provided by
Internode. Have a look at the sponsorship for Joeyglide and the
Multiclass Nationals.
I also dislike web forums - this is much quicker to check and I can do it
from my phone without having to use a web page.
Be assured that the people who bring you this service are very smart
folks - they have been first to market in the country with a number of
technologies in this industry. the company is most definitely not stuck
in the 20th century.
