I think it would be too pale in that font size. Although the default hyperlink blue doesn't match the heading blue, it is easy to see and prints well in black and white. Banded rows? You mean the alternating white and gray backgrounds? They are a major time-consuming nuisance to maintain when rows are added to or removed from a table. With the horizontal lines I've added between the rows, the colour differentiation of the rows themselves should not be needed. Such numbering is fine in reference manuals and manuals aimed at a more technical audience.
