I think there are already a number of documents translated from the
French, not from Authors, but from OOo, but I may be wrong.
There is no need to first translate to English and then to translate
to other languages, in the case you mention, there are a number of
people who can translate directly from Dutch into French
(translators, but also bilingual people from Belgium for ex).

Hi,
On OOocon2006 the Dutch speaking people got together and there is
course material from the city of Utrecht that they would want to
set free if we ask them. The person who can ask them only wants to
do so if we effectively do something with this material. To me the
best option would be to post it as source material on the Dutch
part of OOoAuthors, so at least it doesn't get lost. Then it can be
translated into English and from there it can be translated further
to all other languages. What do you think about this? It's course
material and not documentation. So it wouldn't mean that we are
creating parallel material to what is already available.
Maybe to make a decision on this, you need some kind of sample. I'm
not sure if we can ask a chapter at random, that I would
subsequently translate into English. First I would like to know if
in principle we should bother to ask about it.
