quick reference to NeoOffice is made for Mac users who need to use
OSX character input systems out of the box (like Japanese/Chinese):
it is not trivial at all for a normal user to install an X11 input
system.

Also, users should be aware that the new Mac native version (without
X11 dependency) is being _very_ actively developed and that a pre-
alpha test build is available from the official OOo download page. It
still contains a few glitches but I work with it everyday and I've
not found any major instability issues yet.
