Maven is in beta.
I strongly oppose even slightly hinting that Avalon is built with a beta
build tool, also given that the POM and the descriptor are still in a
flux and still being discussed.
If you want to test Maven, fine, but do it on your computer, not in CVS.
As I said though, you can still supply the Maven descriptors in a
tools/maven dir.
This makes it possible for early Maven adopters to test Maven and for
regular users not to be confused.
