If this is acceptable then I would definitely like to do this. If people
want to try Maven all I need is one directory in your repository where I
can put the descriptor for each project. For those that want to try it I
will supply a goal to place the descriptors where they need to be and
supply a reactor.

I'm in no dire rush but if Peter is allowed to place the first two
descriptors in a tools/maven directory then I can supply patches to do
the rest as I have time. Or anyone else for that matter. This will also
give anyone whose interested in working on a Forrest plugin for Maven.
Pete Kazmier and James Taylor have expressed interest on the Maven list
so anyone whose interested might want to contact them.
