Well in all cases it is not being developed for Avalon - they are being developed because they are useful utilitys. They plan to make them was for their own toolkits (persistence, rmi and one gui framework). If they support our needs then I have no problems using them - we use qdox and it was not built specifically for avalon and no avalon developers are on the team. If the toolkits don't meet our needs then we can move on but otherwise I see no reason to not work with external groups. > But IMHO I fail to see why I am leading to division.
