I'm not fully aware of the reasons behind this decision, which I'm sure wasn't taken lightly (afaik it's the first time in apache history), as anyone here that is probally why this feels so weird.

I would ask you to discuss any present issue with the board as I'm sure you'll find a collaborative attitude and came back asap. Avalon needs you.
