What's your definition of "a while"?  We need a plan for removing them.

It's been there for a long while.  I have the code ready to completely
remove them, but I haven't committed it yet.  I am waiting to here
back from everyone.

6mo in a compat jar. thats arbitrary though. If most want them gone, remove them.
