Hmm I see judder almost every second. Try e.g. the Hanaukyo epsiode I sent you
some time ago (or I'll upload something else on which you can see it), when
the picture is panning (vertically or horizontally), you'll notice judder
immediately.

I must add, it is far less noticeable than the stuff virtualdub produces, but
still is annoying. I can't compare to Windows because I don't have any.

Thats the same with other cards (ATI & voodoo), at least unter linux, too, and
imho has nothing to do with dualhead.

As I said ATI handles doublebuffering inside X driver, so there was no need
for it. OTOH I can try to add this feature inside the new km driver (capturing
module for ATIs), I'll need to talk to others first though.

No. I only perceive judder, so the 25 fps is a guess, I never actually measured it.
