Well, no fixed date, but it's my intention to roll the next release within a few day's time. I did a massive sweep over the bug database during the last couple of days, and also intend to look at some of the patches, but I feel it's high time to roll a new release then. After all, AVRDUDE 5.10 is about 1.5 years old now. Alas, most of the patches in the patch trackers lack documentation (patches). I guess some people simply don't realize the amount of time it takes to add all the documentation for the new features submitted. In 80 % of the cases, having a submitted patch not included in a release is due to them not being documented, and the maintainer eventually running out of time (and motivation) in adding all that documentation a posteriori. > That said I get the impression that > the source needs some better documentation overall using Doxygen > perhaps.
