OK. Well, my only issue is that it uses a new (as yet unreleased) libftdi from http://developer.intra2net.com/git/?p=libftdi-1.0 and libusb-1.0. As much as it Works for Me with MinGW in Win32 using prebuilt libraries available in the devkits on http://code.google.com/p/picusb/downloads/list I fear it'll be a problem for other platforms until these libraries find their way into the various Linux package systems. At the moment FTDI support is a side project for me so until I can focus on it to improve the code quality, documentation and test it some more on other AVRs and also in Linux - then it might have to wait until 5.12. I think it'd be neat for the FTDI devices to work with the other serial programming modes some AVRs use via bit banging. I can say though that using the FTDI device in SPI mode things are pretty quick (from memory <20s to program 128KB of flash) Cheers Jason _______________________________________________ avrdude-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/avrdude-dev
