hi,

i had the same problems you described.

my tip:

1. use a uncompiled 3.0 axapta.

2. copy the var and usr. aod from 2.5 appl/standard to
3.0 apppl/standard

3. copy all *.aoi and *.aod, whithout the dislayer,
varlayer and usrlayer (dis.ao*,usr.aod, var.aod) from
2.5 to 3.0 appl/standard/old

4. start axapta

follow the upgrade-checklist

after this you should integrate manually your
customerimplementation in the aot.

regards
sascha
