Ok here is the correct way: Create a new Axapta 30 Application and Client (both with servicepacks). Than copy all the 2.5 *.aod files to the old folder in 3.0. Copy all the layers, that includes modifications (var, vap, cus, cup, usr, usp) to the application folder.
At this stage you should take a 3.0 standard database to make the application working. That means you should not synchronize and ignore the errors. All you have to do now is to correct the compiling errors and move all tables, classes and forms to the new standart. The problem you described might result from Errors in one of the basic classes. When you finished that step you can point the application to a copy of your old 2.5 database. The upgrade cockpit will start and after some time (depends on machine and size of database .. calculate at least 1 day) you get the first results. You propably have to modifie your data and maybe extend the ReleaseUpdateDB Classes to modifie your data. hope thats clear enought :-) br Karsten --- In [EMAIL PROTECTED], "joel_wwk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi all: > > I have a problem on upgrading Axapta.
