[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Is there seperate MPS and MRP Planning

Hi Friends,
   
  In Microsoft Dynanics-AX, is there seperate MPS and MRP running?
  What I find is one can run for Forecast scheduling and then Master Scheduling.
