Hi, As explained by Mr.Jason, You have to attach depreciation books for a value model in the Derived depreciation books. GL>setup>fixed assets>value models>derived depreciation books tab.
If do the acquisition transaction with value model for which the depreciation books is also attached, the acquisiton transaction hits both the value models and depreciaiton book simultaneously. You can see the status OPEN for both value model and Depreciation Books. If you have not attached, then you can pass a separate acquistion entry using the Depreciation book Journal.
