Thanks Martin

That is interesting to know about AX3.0 compared to AX4.0

Given the need for RDP can anyone shed any light on is W2008 TS/RDP
comparable to Citrix (in terms of bandwidth and admin etc).I mean what is
the benefit of Citrix now for say a less than 100 user AX system?

Thanks

James

Hi James

Connecting to object servers over a WAN worked okay in version 3 but since
AX 4 it's a complete no-no. Your only option from AX 4 onwards is one of the
many remote desktop solutions (e.g. RDP, Citrix, etc).

Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to run AX client to AOS over a WAN
and if so what kind of numbers for latency and bandwidth are
needed/recommended

The WAN I am referring to is something like a 1Mbs that has latency of maybe
30ms (so I am not really referring to public internet WAN)

Thanks

James
