Hmm... At this level, it is only booting, so my files have no real interest.
You can boot the Linux kernel available at
http://x50v.imploder.org/?page_id=4. Things go farer than with my hacked
kernel : see the attached boot log.
Hi,
First of all, congratulations on the first boot on an axim x51v (that
is the machine you are working on, right?). I am the one that packaged
the linux kernel some time ago (which led to the package you are using
to produce this log). I had a very busy year at work, so I didn't have
time to dedicate to this project. I'm still very busy, certainly the
next couple of weeks, but I will help as much as possible. I don't
have a serial cable, but seeing your log, usb networking is already
working. Only the initrd has to be loaded correctly. I'll have a look
at this.
So what I need:
- The versions of software and kernel that you are using (if I
understand correctly, haret HEAD and the packaged linux kernel)
- Any changes to the source code that are needed
- The used kernel .config
- Any other files that I should need to get it to boot to the extend
of your attached log.
We have appr. 10 x50v machines here at work, one upgraded to WM5.0,
and about 20 x51vs. So I can test these things on any machine you guys
want. Just let me know (but remember, I don't have a serial cable, so
I'll have to get to usb networking first).
Great news!
Greetz,
JeDi
