How difficult is the transition to move to Axis2? We are consuming both the
Java and C++ Axis 1 library.

We have also made some modifications to both.

Unfortunately transition is not straightforward. However if you have WSDLs for current services, you could try and generate C clients and services with WSDL2C.

Are you using Axis 1 C++ for both services and clients or only clients?

I have made a couple posts to this mailing list and have never received responses. Should I go elsewhere for questions regarding Axis 1 c++ 1.6b?

Is it a possibility for you to try Axis2/C?
