That's good Cheri, I just know from my searching (and searching and searching!) 
that Alvarado is not a name I see in that town. Almada is one and Almeida but I 
think it's Almada. 

The rest of the translation is great and should really help people to learn how 
to read. Another thing that they will see is the double "s" looking like a "ph" 
which is especially true in the name Nossa Senhora das Neves.
