Be sure  to read the link from Dick's blog to the Kansas City Star.  Sounds 
like  the FOIA form G-639 will no longer be required.  There currently is 
no  index and it sounds like you have to search there yourself (unless you 
know a  researcher in that area).  Note the 100 year rule (it's 2009 so the  
person's DOB needs to be 1909 or earlier) and new ones will be released in  
batches every 5 years (just like the Azores).
