Hi Cheri

If I were in that situation I would just drop Ancestry and re-subscribe
in a few months. As far as ship arrivals I have been lucky to have found
most of mine on the Ellis Island website and it is free.

I have an old subscription - where they used to piecemeal things. Only
census and some US records. Nothing more, nada. If I ask for anything
more, they want to sell me the World subscription. I don't have the
time that others on another list have where I can hang up and call back
and get a different rep to play that game. I just checked and went to
the ships list, and yep, the only way for me to get it is to go to
World. It's probably based on my subscription that has been
grandfathered in.
