That's the best that I can do. Shirley in CA ----- Original Message ----- From: Besotes To: Azores@googlegroups.com Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2010 1:37 AM Subject: [AZORES-Genealogy] Translations help - CCA site I've found a death document related to my Borba side of the family and am wondering if someone can help me translate it? It's the first document on the left hand side of the page at the link below. It speak of my GGGGrandparents Custodia Candida and Jose da Rocha de Borba. http://pg.azores.gov.pt/drac/cca/biblioteca_digital/TAHSBARTO1860-1869/TAHSBARTO1860-1869_item1/P8.html Here's what I have found on the CCA site for their marriage: 1849 Page 64 St. Bartholomew Indices of Marriage, so it appears they were married in 1949 and one dies in 1861? I do know one of their children was my GGGrandfather of the same name, Jose da Rocha de Borba born in 1850, St. Bartholomew of which I have a baptism certificate. Other than this one child, I don't know of any others. Thank you for your help!
