Well, Herb, I'm going to have to let Altino answer this one, as I don't yet have all the details of when the various descendants of Antonio de Melo & Senhorinha Raposo de Medeiros emigrated out of Nordeste. Some stayed, some went to Canada, and some went to Brazil.
But you probably went to school with some of Altino's cousins who stayed in Nordeste. He knows who's there and who's not. And there's a story about a big, 2 story house in Nordeste.
