Did you get a copy of their Marriage Certificate from Fall River? It should
list their parents and where
they were from.
I couldn't find a Sao Vicente Parish. The births for the village of Arrifes
end before 1881.
I think that the Marriage Certificate is the best place to start.

Massachusetts, USA, on September 24, 1904. I have been trying to
track down their families of origins and the villages or frequesias
they came from before they emigrated to America.

I have two people, from Sao Miguel, that I am researching:
Manoel NUNES from Sao Vincente Ferreiro Parish, (born about 1867 to
1869) and his spouse, Ermelinda Carreiro, (born about 1881), in
Arrifes Parish. I've attempted to send an e-mail to both parishes but
never received any response.
Do you think you can assist me?
